Dear Parents
Goodbye Year 6
Goodbye and best wishes to our lovely Year 6 children who are all off to their new secondary schools in September. Last night saw the Leavers Disco where they all had so much fun, throwing themselves into the dancing with Miss Morley, and having a great time. They are kind, responsible individuals who showed what a good attitude to learning can achieve with their great SATs results. Their committed approach to their end of year performance pulled them together and showcased even more of their talents. We have sports people, artists, mathematicians, actors, geographers, designers, engineers, computing experts, historians, scientists, authors and playwrights and many more. The Leavers Assembly showed what amazing young people they are and although tinged with sadness as we say goodbye we know that they are well prepared for the next exciting step of their journey. Thank you to Mrs Hallett and the whole Year 6 team.
Goodbye Mrs Novakovic
Goodbye Mrs Novakovic as she leaves us to enjoy her retirement. Carina has been a big part of our school for many years as the leader of the lunchtime supervisors. Her organisational and logistic skills came into their own during lockdown when there were several changes every day; wash hands, stand on spots, 2 meters apart, walk in lines clockwise, then anti-clockwise!!! Carina kept smiling and joking and who will forget her dancing during Christmas dinners? Have a wonderful retirement Carina, it is well deserved.

Thank you to all the staff and team at Bridgewater and we wish all of you a lovely summer with your families and we will see the children back in school on Wednesday 4th September, full of their summer adventures.
