Dear Parents 

Football News 

On Monday the Year 5 and 6 football team competed in the county finals which they have been looking forward to and training for. They won two and drew two of the games from their pool meaning it came down to goal difference! We finished a close 2nd in our pool and 4th overall. Well done to the children on their fantastic achievement, they should be very proud of themselves.  Thank you for the report, Miss Peal. 

Book Swap 

The Reading Ambassadors have been continuing to encourage everyone to read and this week you may have noticed the book swap trolley on the way into school, which everyone can use and find a book to enjoy.   

The older children are establishing good reading habits and uploading their reads on to BoomReader with more regularity.  It’s very important for all the children and parents in younger year groups to update BoomReader with their latest reads.  

Magnificent Minds 

Pacesetters have been working with some of Year 5 on the Magnificent Minds project looking at wellbeing and positivity and how they can help us to maintain our wellbeing across the school.
