Dear Parents

We have had a lovely start to the week, all the children are calm, focused on their learning and enjoying playing with their school friends again.

Welcome New Staff

You will soon meet Mrs Breakwell, our new School Office Manager, who fits in really well and is looking forward to getting to know you all.  Welcome to Mr Lagdon in Y6, Mr Yaseen in Y4 and Miss Lee in Y2 who are all enjoying their new classes. Welcome to Miss Gill our new TA in Reception and Mrs Odedra who is supporting a child in KS2.  Mrs Gilkes has worked hard to prepare the Nursery setting with the team and is enjoying her role as the Nursery Leader.

Y6 Leavers Disco

We had a lovely evening with last years Y6 who came back to school to receive their certificates and have a disco.  There was a real buzz of excitement as all the staff and children got back together again.  They are lovely natured children with a fantastic attitude to their learning and life and we wish them well for their secondary schools and the future.

Family Breakfast

Family Breakfast Club is starting on Wednesday 8th September at 08:00 until 08.45 and will run on every Wednesday and Friday morning in the main school hall. Please sit in your family groups and be mindful of the children’s behaviour.  We can now take cards which should make payments a lot easier and as a cashless school we would encourage people to use this facility.

Welcome Reception

We are looking forward to our new reception children starting school next week and can’t wait to see them in their new uniforms.  There are lots of interesting and exciting resources for them to enjoy playing with when they settle in.
