This week I have seen some beautiful handwriting and presentation in books across the school, demonstrating that the children are applying their handwriting skills and taking care with presentation. Well done children keep it up.

Y1 Phonics Evening
Thank you for coming to the Y1 phonics evening update. The PowerPoint has been uploaded to the blog to support families at home and please ask if you have any further questions.
Miss Paine, Miss Brimble, and Mrs Mawer are away next week in Malaga on curriculum training and we look forward to new developments for our curriculum. Mr Crosbie and Mrs Chandler will be covering in Y1 and Mrs Osborne will be in Y5.
A white Range Rover was damaged in Ellis Way this morning. If anyone saw anything could they please report it to the police.
The Local Authority visited this morning and commented on the lovely range of experiences provided for the children. She liked that the children were independent, focused on an activity and self-selecting resources. Please contact the school office if you would like a place as there are still a few available.
Thank you to Miss Brimble’s class for their wonderful class assembly – I can’t believe so much has happened in a term - from rockets crashing into the pond to Miss Brimble’s strange abduction by aliens. We saw some fantastic gymnastic displays demonstrating great balance, coordination and discipline. Well done everyone.
