Super Soup!

In this unit of food technology, we will be designing and making our own type of vegetable soup. Year 3 had the chance to taste some delicious soup that was freshly made in our school kitchen, by Chef Jason! We tasted 3 soups:

Tomato and basil soup

Chunky vegetable soup

Red lentil and tomato soup with bacon

We evaluated the soups and talked about what we liked and disliked about them. We thought about the texture, smells and tastes of each of them. Some of us were trying these flavours for the first time and really enjoyed them! We now have some great ideas for what ingredients we might include in the soups that we make at school. It has been wonderful to hear that some of you have been making soup at home with your families!
