Chinese New Year Celebrations

Last Friday we finished off the week with some exciting learning about Chinese New Year. The children learned about the traditions of the festival and immersed themselves in the culture. We had a great time learning some Mandarin and even had a go at writing ‘good luck’ cards in this new language. The children were very brave and all had a go at eating some new foods that are often shared during this celebration. What a fantastic way to start the half term!
