Welcome to this celebration of learning blog. I always think of the blogs as providing a window to look into the children’s fascinating world at school. I am in the privileged position to be able to capture events across the school and community as they happen and share them with you. It’s also a bit like a diary in that you can look back and see a colourful reflection of the year.

Last Thursday we had a lovely day when parents and children came to visit the new nursery setting. It was great to see the children getting involved in different activities and looking comfortable. You can see Mrs Spina below on the left who is leading the nursery and Miss Esson on the right who is working in the nursery and has helped Mrs Spina set up the unit from scratch. Mrs Wise is overseeing the Early phase which ensures a smooth transition. It was lovely to see the ambassadors supporting the young visitors and encouraging them. Mrs Shaw, one of our governors, also enjoyed spending the morning with us and getting to know the children and families.
