Dear Parents

The Early Years Nativity performances have been beautiful this week.  They looked lovely in their sparkly costumes and showed what a long way they have come in one term as they confidently spoke up and sang to their families.  Well done to the team for working so hard and coordinating 90 children to tell the Christmas story.

Swimming Gala

Congratulations to the eight Y 5/6 pupils who competed in a swimming gala at Northampton School for Boys this week.

Boccia Final  

Well done to Phoebe, Lance and Aaron winning the second round of their boccia competition! They will now progress to the county finals in the new year.

The Children’s Society 

Thank you to the parents and families of the Y1 children who generously raised £327 for the Children’s Society after the Christingle service.

Carols on the Green

It was lovely to see so many of the community at the annual ‘Carols on the Green’ last evening.  Mrs Biddle had put out all the twinkly lights in the trees and took the Diwali illuminations out to the green.  Mrs Jones played the oboe and kept us all in time.

Thank you to Mrs Holding who puts these events together with ease creating a lovely community event.  A special well done to the ‘Out of School Club’ who came out in their yellow jackets to enjoy the fun and sang with gusto. 

Police spot checks

We met with the police this week and there will be a police presence making spot check visits over the next few weeks at peak drop off and collection times.

At the time of writing the ‘Friends’ and staff are very busy preparing for the Christmas Fayre tonight which looks very exciting.
