It’s been lovely to be outside in the sunshine all week, playing and learning; I will put some photos on my blog.

Lunchtimes

We have a great team of lunch time supervisors led by Carina Novakovic.  They have coped with a huge amount of change and developed the lunchtime provision to be a really happy relaxed experience.

They set up lots of games and interact with the children playing and supporting them with any issues.  In the hall they have developed a very slick system where waiting times are greatly reduced and children enjoy a quality social experience with their friends from any year group or siblings.

It’s great to see a few of our lunch time supervisors in the Out of School Club as well which also has a caring ethos and a love of playing outside.

Sun protection

Can we remind everyone to make sure the children have sun cream applied before they come in to school and please bring a hat.  You may wish to consider the ‘once a day’ type of sun cream.  Please wear closed toe sandals as part of our summer uniform.  Thank you.

Allotment

Rachel from the allotment came to talk to the School Council this week and was very informative about what to grow and how to nurture healthy fruit and veg.  Soon they will be visiting the allotment to help her on the plot.
