Dear Parents
We have had a lovely start to the term with all the children settling in to their classes. It has been a pleasure to walk around the school and be greeted by polite well-mannered children who are keen to share their learning.
In this week’s newsletter you will find the following:

Bridgewater Out of School Club
Mrs Bradford Parnell and the team have been busy setting up the Out of School Club during the summer and have done a wonderful job. They have created a really inviting, bright area which has brought about a calm and relaxing environment that makes you curious and want to explore. They start at 7.45 am in the mornings and finish at 5.45 pm in the afternoons. We will soon have the web page up and running for the club on the website.
I’ve taken a few lovely photos and put them on my blog where you can see them in action - http://bridgewaterprimary.net/blogs/head/
The Romans
We have only been back three days and have been invaded by Y3 dressed up as Romans as you can see on Twitter. What a great start they’ve had to this terms theme.
Pupil Premium
If you think you may be eligible for Pupil Premium funding, please apply or see someone in the office who can help. There is a £100 voucher which you receive if you qualify which can go towards paying for clubs, activities and trips.
Parking reminder
Please remember to park considerately and leave plenty of time to drop off! Thank you.
Have a lovely weekend.
