In English this term, we are focusing on a book called The Land of Neverbelieve by Norman Messenger. This week we have picked the book apart, understanding how Norman Messenger comes across a wonderful island that is made up of different plates and unusual creatures. Chocolate grows on trees, mountains tell stories and fish fly in the sky at night on this amazing island!
By the end of this term, the children will have learnt how to write a ‘finding tale’. Below are some examples of the wonderful phrases and sentences that the children came up with. Our guided tours around the island helped us with this.
Can you comment with some sentences to describe your favourite plate on the island? What do you like about this book so far?
