This week in year 3 we have been learning all about money! We have learnt about how many 1ps fit into £1 and we’ve looked at giving exact change at our Year 3 Extreme Explorer shop! We are really looking forward to developing our understanding of money over the coming weeks!

We have had a fantastic few days in Year 3 exploring all different parts of survival. We designed, made and tasted energy bars, learnt how cut vegetables and make soup using the fire pit. We also made our own shelters using natural materials.
Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed our visit to St Peters and St Paul’s church for our Christmas experience. We learnt about advent, Mary and Joseph’s trip to Bethlehem, promises made to Isaiah and Mary and Joseph’s humble beginnings. It was really interesting and the children loved the angels and hearts they made!
