Year 3 went on a very exciting trip this week! We visited Irchester Country Park to do activities all focused around our Extreme Explorers topic.
Throughout the day we took part in three different activities. A nature walk, orienteering and shelter building. We had a fantastic stroll through the nearby woodland on our nature walk and spotted many different plants and animals along the way. The orienteering was fantastic on the Royal meadow and the children particularly enjoyed finding the clues to solve their anagrams. The children then became real extreme explorers when shelter building, we had to carefully climb up a bank to get to the den area which was really exciting! The children had great fun creating their own shelters and showed brilliant teamwork.
We had an unforgettable time and the children showed super enthusiasm during the day!
